On Monday September 4, 2023 Haw Creek Animal Hospital will hold our 19th Annual Labor Day fundraiser. Beginning in 2005 when Dr. Heather started at Haw Creek we have held an annual fundraiser for an animal-related charity.

Foothills Humane Society (FHS) is a private non-profit, 501c3 no-kill animal welfare organization located in Columbus, NC. Serving Columbus, Tryon and Saluda in NC and when capacity permits, Landrum, Campobello and Gowensville in South Carolina, FHS helps around 1600 animal a year. Last year donated 50% of the day's revenues to FHS to help with their efforts. For the first time since we started this benefit in 2005 we are supporting the same organization two years running.

Dr. Sinclair is donating some equipment and loaning other equipment to help Foothills Humane Society to set up a spay and neuter surgical suite. SouthWestern NC is badly under served with low cost spay and neuter services and this facility should make a huge difference. Foothills Humane Society are organizing a funding match to facilitate purchase of surgical packs and a variety of consumables.
